Meat Rabbit

Rabbit has been a standard food source throughout history. Recently rabbit has made a come-back as people look for healthy, traditional foods for their families. Sterling Family Farms raises and processes rabbit for home use and for resale by commercial markets in Illinois. Fryers are 2-3 pounds. Roasters are over 4 pounds.

The art of preparing rabbit for dining varies from culture to culture, but we are collecting recipes and techniques from our customers who share with us their traditional family methods.
