Sterling Family Farms is no exception, and our non-laying chickens provide a bountiful supply. Our soup chickens are available year round and can be slow-roasted to perfection or boiled and made into favorite recipes. The meat is darker than store-bought chickens’ meat because our chickens have been allowed to run in the fields eating bugs and weed seeds; that means that the meat also has more flavor and less fat. Available frozen.
